Missing Insulation
Photo #1: Kitchen tray ceiling. Missing insulation can be seen at two locations indicated by the dark blue color. Lighter purple shaded color indicates insulation is not tightly placed against sheetrock and can be causing condensation and possible mold growth.
Photo #2: Stairwell vaulted ceiling. Missing insulation can be seen on both sides of vault and intersecting sidewall as indicated by the dark blue color. This is an energy loss that can be easily fixed by replacing missing insulation.
Photo #3: Master bedroom tray ceiling. Missing insulation can be seen at three locations between tray ceilings framing as indicated by the dark blue colored areas.
Photo #4: Master bedroom tray ceiling. Missing insulation was found around the majority of the master bedroom can lights and other ceiling penetrations. Can lights need to be determined if they are direct contact fixtures before repair is implemented.
